PromoServe 4.0

This May PromoServe 4.0 will be made available to all PromoServe software users. The latest version of our specialist software for promotional product distributors and suppliers features more than 160 new features and improvements, some highlights of which are as follows:

PromoServe Coach

 

The PromoServe Coach is an interactive window on to our help site, www.promoservehelp.com. It'll pop up when you launch your software, with easy to follow guides and movie tutorials to help you get to grips with PromoServe and TransAction Software, and ClickPromo websites.

We've been intensively working on this resource for the past few months to make it easier for new and existing customers to learn how to use our technology services.

The result is a comprehensive yet easy to navigate online help site which should be your first port of call for all usage queries.

Improved Quotes

  • Default WQ ratio - you can now pre-set the standard likelihood of you winning an order so it's automatically filled in
  • Speed up quote entry - turn on / off the print methods question pop up
  • Create a Sales Order from the Quotations database - previously a 'pull-through' from the sales order database, it's now much quicker to create a sales order from a quote
  • Make old quotes 'dead' - great for cleaning up your order pipeline, and measuring the success of your campaigns, you can now make groups of quotes 'dead'

Reporting

 

You can now add Marketing Tags to the Supplier Database, a really quick means of extracting data based on, well, anything you like! So if you'd like to record your top ten suppliers for pens, mousemats, bags and/or keyrings, you can pull off a list of them really simply.

Additionally you can now report on customers currently over their credit limit, allowing you to keep a closer eye on expenditure and payment.

Now you've got the facility to make quotes 'dead' in bulk, you'll also find it useful to report on quotes which you've not won, and see if you can identify a common reason for this.

Purchase Orders

 

This new feature allows you to set products on your database as Direct Delivery then raise Purchase Orders for Direct Delivery products only.

This is useful if you manufacture / store some products yourself and order other products from suppliers, and only want to raise Purchase Orders for the products you are ordering and not the ones you are manufacturing / storing.

Look out for the new 'DD Products Only' check box when creating Purchase Orders off the back of sales orders.
